Arcana Log may collect or process the following categories of information.
Account Information
When you sign in using Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, we may receive account-related information such as your email address, if provided by the sign-in provider, and a user ID or authentication identifier. This information is used to provide account-based features, such as saving journal entries, restoring purchases, and managing user access.
Journal and Reflection Content
Arcana Log allows you to save tarot readings, journal entries, and reflection notes. This may include saved reading records, reflection notes written by you, journal content you create, and related reading metadata such as selected topic, card, deck, date, or reading context.
Journal and reflection content is used only to provide app functionality, such as saving, displaying, and managing your personal readings. We do not use your journal or reflection notes for advertising, tracking, or marketing purposes.
Purchase Information
Arcana Log offers in-app purchases, such as Premium Lifetime access and collectible tarot decks. We may process purchase-related information, including purchase history, product ID, entitlement status, and purchase restoration status. This information is used to unlock purchased features, restore purchases, and manage access to premium or collectible content.
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. RevenueCat is used to manage purchase entitlements. We do not collect or store your payment card number or payment credentials.
Advertising and Device Information
Arcana Log uses Google AdMob to display ads to non-premium users. Google AdMob and related advertising services may collect or process information such as device identifiers, advertising data, product interaction data, usage data, approximate location derived from IP address, ad impressions, clicks, interactions, and fraud prevention or service operation data.
This information may be used for third-party advertising, ad measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and service operation. Advertising data, device identifiers, product interaction data, usage data, and approximate location may be used by Google AdMob and related advertising services to provide or measure ads across apps and websites. Premium users do not see ads while their premium entitlement is active.
Usage and Interaction Data
We and our service providers may collect or process limited usage and interaction data, such as app interactions, feature usage, product interaction data, purchase flow interactions, and ad interaction data. This data is used to operate the app, improve app performance, analyze feature usage, and maintain service reliability.
Diagnostics and Performance Data
We and our service providers may collect diagnostic information, including crash logs, performance data, app launch time, error information, and device or SDK performance information. This information is used to identify bugs, improve stability, and maintain app performance.
Approximate Location
Arcana Log does not request precise GPS location permission. However, third-party services such as Google AdMob may process approximate location information, such as location inferred from IP address, for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, and service operation.

- To provide and operate Arcana Log;
- To allow users to sign in and access account-based features;
- To save and display journal entries and reflection notes;

Arcana Log uses third-party services that may collect, process, or store information according to their own privacy policies. These services may include:
- Firebase Authentication;
- Cloud Firestore;
- Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase;
- Google Sign-In;
- Sign in with Apple;
- RevenueCat;
- Google AdMob;
- Apple App Store services.
These third-party services may process information for authentication, cloud storage, purchase management, advertising, analytics, diagnostics, fraud prevention, security, and service operation. We encourage users to review the privacy policies of these providers.
4. Journal and Reflection Privacy
Your journal and reflection notes are personal content. Arcana Log uses this content only to provide app functionality, such as saving, displaying, and managing your own readings and reflections.
We do not use your journal or reflection notes for:
- Advertising targeting;
- Third-party advertising;
- Marketing;
- Tracking;
- Selling to third parties.
Journal and reflection content may be stored using Firebase services so that you can access saved readings through your account. We take reasonable steps to protect this information through authentication and access controls.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share or process information only in the following cases:
- With service providers necessary to operate the app;
- To process purchases and restore entitlements;
- To provide advertising through Google AdMob;
- To comply with legal obligations;
- To protect the security, rights, and integrity of Arcana Log and its users.
6. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the app's features, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security.
Journal entries and reflection notes may remain stored until you delete them or request deletion of your account or data. Purchase-related records may be retained as necessary to verify purchases, restore access, and comply with App Store and legal requirements.
7. User Choices and Data Deletion
You may choose whether to sign in, save journal entries, or use purchase features. You may delete your account in the app settings where supported, or request deletion of your account or personal data by contacting us at support@arcanalog.app.
When requesting deletion, please include the email address associated with your Arcana Log account, if applicable. Some information may need to be retained where required by law, fraud prevention, security, or purchase verification obligations.
8. Children's Privacy
Arcana Log is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@arcanalog.app, and we will take appropriate steps to delete such information.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Data Processing
Arcana Log may use third-party services that process data in countries other than your country of residence. By using Arcana Log, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in locations where our service providers operate.
