These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Arcana Log, including the mobile application, website, and related services. By using Arcana Log, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About Arcana Log
Arcana Log offers tarot-inspired readings, journaling tools, deck selection, and share features for reflection and entertainment. You may use basic card drawing and reading features without signing in. Account-based features, such as saving readings to your Journal, syncing saved content, restoring purchases, or managing purchase access, may require sign-in.
2. Reflection and Entertainment Only
Arcana Log is designed for self-reflection, journaling, and entertainment. Tarot readings, card meanings, prompts, insights, and related content are not medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice. You should not rely on Arcana Log as a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, treatment, or decision-making in important personal, health, financial, legal, or safety matters.
3. Eligibility
Arcana Log is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in your region. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
4. Accounts and Sign-In
You may sign in using supported methods such as Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that occurs through your account. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email address, Arcana Log may receive a private relay email or no email address from Apple. App functionality is tied to your authentication identifier, not to whether your visible email address is shared.
5. Journal and Reflection Content
Journal notes, reflection notes, and saved readings that you create or save in Arcana Log remain your content. You grant Arcana Log the limited permission needed to store, sync, display, process, and operate those features for you. You should not save or share content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, misleading, or infringes the rights of others.
You are responsible for the content you write, save, export, or share from the app. Shared images or text may become visible to people or services outside Arcana Log depending on how you choose to share them.
6. In-App Purchases and Restore Purchases
Arcana Log may offer in-app purchases, including Premium Lifetime access and collectible tarot decks. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. RevenueCat is used to help manage purchase entitlements and restoration status.
Prices are shown in the app before purchase using information provided by the App Store. Purchased access is unlocked only after the relevant entitlement is confirmed. Premium access may remove ads and unlock premium deck access while the premium entitlement is active. A collectible deck purchase unlocks the specific deck associated with that purchase while the related entitlement is active.
Non-consumable purchases can be restored using the Restore Purchases option in the app. Refund requests, billing issues, and purchase cancellation rules are handled by Apple and may be subject to Apple's App Store terms and policies.
7. Ads and Premium Access
Arcana Log may show ads to non-premium users. Ads are provided through third-party services such as Google AdMob. Premium users do not see ads while their premium entitlement is active. Ad availability, format, frequency, and placement may change over time.
8. Decks, Images, and App Content
Arcana Log, including its designs, interface, text, images, tarot deck artwork, card meanings, generated share templates, logos, and other app content, is owned by Arcana Log or its licensors, except for content you create yourself. You may use app content only as allowed by the Service. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create competing products from Arcana Log content unless we give written permission or applicable law allows it.
9. Acceptable Use
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the Service.
- Do not use the Service to harass others or violate their rights.
- Do not bypass purchase, entitlement, or security systems.
- Do not upload, save, or share unlawful, harmful, or rights-infringing content.
- Do not use automated systems to scrape, copy, or overload the Service.
10. Account Deletion and Privacy
You may delete supported account data through the app settings where available, or contact us for assistance. Privacy practices, including the types of information processed and how to request deletion, are described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Availability and Changes to the Service
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. We try to keep Arcana Log reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features, reading content, decks, prices, ads, or platform integrations may change over time.
12. Disclaimers
Arcana Log is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that readings, interpretations, prompts, or insights will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific outcome.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arcana Log and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including decisions you make based on readings or journal prompts.
14. Apple App Store Terms
If you downloaded Arcana Log from the Apple App Store, your use of the app may also be subject to Apple's App Store terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement unless a separate valid agreement applies. We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of Arcana Log after the Terms are updated means you accept the updated Terms.
